In the State of Delaware, there are different organizations that provide emergency support housing especially for individuals with mental health condition throughout the State. For example, The Motel Ministry provides short-term emergency housing for needy or displaced persons. Martha House provides long-term transitional housing for women and children, fostering the goal of independent living through counseling and life skills training in a safe, supportive environment. The state also gives out public housing voucher to individuals that are eligible for the services. In addition, the states have food banks that give food to families on a weekly basis.
